About hunting season for hunting wild boar in Tajikistan, all depend of the way of hunting hunter likes.
It is not organized like in Central Europe or North Africa (Tunisia / Marrocco).
It is remote central Asia!!! And very wild and it is why there is still big tuskers boars.
– If you like hunting by waiting or under moon light at night you can go in Tajikistan in summer or at beginning of autumn when depending of crops and fruits season.
– If you want to do drives and/or to do stalking, best is to go in automn and winter from November till March when snow is in altitude.
In that part of the world, it is not so cold in winter, but when it’s frozen during night and unfreeze during the day, boars are getting out to feed during the day and more easily to spot.
– Also stalking way of hunting is more easily done in winter.
By the way when the first snow are arriving in altitude it is pushing boars at lower altitude in concentration, males joining females for mating.
For hunting wild boar, sometime it is just necessary to have some villagers, 2-3 beaters and 1-2 dogs to do a big drive from the valley to push the boars at higher altitude where the hunters are waiting in good spot with the possibility to shoot from 100 to 300 meters.
Best number is 4 to 6 hunters. Big groups are more complicate to manage or they have to divide in two hunting areas.
Or in going 2 groups of 3-4 hunters and to hunt in different valleys or hunting territory.

Accommodation are in villagers home. Received in Tadjik tradition. Simple.
Sometime we have a small hunting lodge in the territory where we have simple bed and a « bania » (local sauna from the Russian tradition).

Important : It is not a destination to bag a big number of boars. It is the destination to shoot tuskers boars in a wild part of the world with NATURAL game.
For sure if you want to shoot as many small boars you are free to do it, just for fun.
But I repeat, it is not a destination to shoot big number of boars like it was possible in Tunisia or in Poland or Central Europe (before … When it was wild… ).

You can shoot wolves and fox as many as you want.
There as so many in this part of the world, but If you want to get back skins to Europe you need to do a pre-import Cites and to check the regulation in your country. And local organization will charge you 1000€ per Wolf.

If you want Ibex plus wild boar, Tadjikistan is a great destination but try to stay more than one week.

In some Ibex area there is hunting lodge quite comfortable. But sometime, to guarantee the success and to be able to hunt everyone 1×1, best is to sleep in the local guide house or in light camp to be near the Ibex area.
There is Ibex in every valley just up to that lodge but also at 20 to 40 km.

Best areas for Wild boar are situated between Dushanbe and Pandj river to the south.

Ibex area is on the Pamirs road (6-7 hours from Dushambe) by the way it is quite « mineral » so there is less boars than in big valleys with villages, agriculture, fruits trees or bush between Dushambe and Kulyab (or at one hour driving from Ibex area).

About Ibex hunting season in Tadjikistan, it can be any time from august to march even if after the first big snow (Nov-dec), ibex will be at lower altitude. Terrritory is quite steep so hunts in summer-autumn are challenging.
For Ibex season in Tadjikistan, the best is to wait for the first big snow (normally december) which push the ibex at lower altitude. January to beg of march is much better for success. But again all is depending where is the hunting territory and the altitude.

For Wild boar in Tadjikistan, best would be to organize the trip like that :

With Turkish-Airlines there is 3-4 flights per week (Wenesday, Friday, Sunday) to Dushambe (DYU) from most big cities of Europe through Istambul (IST) where you will be in transit, your luggages, Rifle, Ammo will go to final destination (DYU)
Exemple from Wenesday same timing on Friday and Sunday
Wenesday: Departure from Europe (take flights with minimum 1H30 of transit in Istambul, time to luggage to be sure at final destination …)
Thursday: arrival early morning in Dushambe, to drive 4 to 7 hours hunting area. Hunt if possible. Night in village or hunting lodge.
Saturday / Sunday / Monday / Tuesday / Wenesday : hunt
Wednesday evening : back to Dushanbe. Diner and Night in Dushanbe at your own expenses (from Tajikistan hotel at 100$ to Hyatt. Check on the web)
Thursday: Early morning flight back to Europe
